On April 21, EcoRing celebrated Earth Day in beautiful, lush Jenner by the Sea with an event of unequaled adventure, activity and sustainable celebratory outdoor fun! Bikers journeyed from Jenner to Occidental; hikers enjoyed a guided wildflower walk on the Jenner Headlands, and kayakers raced and leisurely rowed on the estuary. Electric car owners displayed their vehicles and electric and folding bikes were on display. During this year of Russian River Bicentennial celebrations we had Russian Longboats on display and in use. The day also included a barbecue, live music, Shark Water documentary screening, and even chair massages for tired bodies to enjoy. photos © Catherine Barry
